I hope spring will come early!
I am also alone and I cook for two or three times, have one portion and put the others in the freezer. I take one portion out of the freezer and put it in the microwave, and I am ready. Of course I have various dishes in the freezer.Reader Wilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06384603525251159272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3386593357064408531.post-70533003402473025992011-01-25T10:55:43.376-06:002011-01-25T10:55:43.376-06:00My wife considers any meal a failure unless it yie...My wife considers any meal a failure unless it yields a couple of days worth of leftovers. I live in Hot Springs and I'm not a stamper but a quilter. However, I'm right there with you in longing for warmer weather. My husband and I do a two month mission trip to south Louisiana in June and July. Yesterday I talked to the folks down there and told them I needed a job to do for them in January and February! It's about 15 degrees warmer there than here typically and that sounds good right now. blessings,m arleneStitchinByTheLakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04501479854150315011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3386593357064408531.post-60721458463147329262011-01-25T07:01:11.683-06:002011-01-25T07:01:11.683-06:00I think I read that it was Marco Polo who brought ...I think I read that it was Marco Polo who brought spaghetti back to Italy from China (where it is called lo mein). Great for a quick meal or a carry to work lunch.
I recently read a 1000 page book on Kindle and loved every under a pound minute. That way you won't need to finish it off in consecutive meals and you'll always have something to grab when you're stuck for an idea.Hilaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12787493532006658679noreply@blogger.com
