SO--check it out when you get a chance...

I'm not much of a reader ---except for things pertinent to the moment (health stuff, bird info, etc.).... I love to read that kind of stuff --but don't ever just sit down and read a book. I'm just too busy for that... ha ha
Hugs,
BetsyBetsy Banks Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16223591156634767330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3386593357064408531.post-89071368187508600422011-04-13T07:31:05.968-05:002011-04-13T07:31:05.968-05:00I've just bought a copy of Precious Bane, by M...I've just bought a copy of Precious Bane, by Mary Webb - it's recently been brought out in a new paperback edition, and I'm all set to go.

Apart from that, I've recently finished the first two volumes of Kathryn Magendie's 'Graces' Saga. :) Roll on the next one...Jinksyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01686101468214361004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3386593357064408531.post-62048085500607549052011-04-13T07:15:45.011-05:002011-04-13T07:15:45.011-05:00I had read only one book on your 1999 list: The W...I had read only one book on your 1999 list: The Water Is Wide by Pat Conroy.

I am currently reading a hardcover book that I purchased for 79 cents at the local Salvation Army Thrift Store a few days ago: Letters of Distinguished Musicians: Gluck, Haydn, P.E. I got it while it was still a freebie on kindle and am enjoying it a lot. I don't know how to catagorize it. It is a fictional account of a "test" rapture in a small Kansas town. Sometimes amusing, rarely preachy, but so far, quite enjoyable. I would read this author again.Arkansas Pattihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14156004753267665579noreply@blogger.com
