This is my first post on Sky Watch! I decided only this afternoon that I would try to participate. It was exciting, and a bit frustrating trying to find a good sky shot this evening, just before sundown, when most of the visible sky was overcast. This photo was taken from my daughter's home, which is located on one of the few high spots in our town of Jacksonville, Arkansas, enabling my camera to "over look" most of the city. A little cropping produced this photo.

ReplyDeleteI don't know about you, but I was more than ready to see the clouds breaking up this evening. I reckon I have a very low tolerance for gray, overcast days when it's too wet for me to get out into the woods.

ReplyDeleteGrandchildren always makes things seem so much brighter and happier. We don't have any great grandchildren yet, but our two oldest grandchildren live in Fl, so even if they have any, we probably wouldn't see them often. The three grandchildren that live close by are 15, 9 and 8. So unless the 15 year old grandson marries early like around 18 or 19 and has a child by the time he's say 21, we may never see any great- grandchildren. Thanks for your visit. I appreciate it very much.

ReplyDeleteOLD WOM TIGLEY: how in the world do you do it? Everywhere I've been today on the blog comments, you've been there waaaay ahead of me. I've looked at only about 1/2 the entries so far and my eyes are about to pop out of my head. Of course, you have sort of a head start since your clock is 6 hours ahead of mine! LOL
Must be a wonderful spot to 'overlook'! The sky looks fantastic with splashes of colour that really set it off :) Hope your eyes feel better after a good rest!
