When passing by my church's bell the other evening, I looked up into the still bright sky and found a tiny moon showing amidst some criss-cross cloud patterns. (It's at about 11 o'clock above the bell.) The image found its way into my camera, of course. The bell reminded me of a megaphone and thus this post's title was born.
Sky Watch Friday is hosted by Tom Wiggers at Wiggers World. I invite you to visit his site to see sky photos from all over the world. Thanks, Tom!

ReplyDeleteNice pic of the sky. I probably wouldn't have noticed the moon. It blended in so nicely with the clouds in the sky.
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming by my blog. I think the cliff was on Lake Norfolk. If I remember right I can see the bridges over the lake across the way. I wasn't driving and was sitting in the back of the van so I am not a hundred percent sure.

ReplyDeleteHa! Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI love the title. Very creative! You must live near an airport or air force base -- that is a multitude of contrails!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful message, Pat!
ReplyDelete@gmailYour composition is very striking, Pat. Was it a very windy day or is that from planes - criss-crossing like that would be quite dangerous.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog. To answer your question: Australia has probably 4 icons, two natural and two man-made. This is the Sydney Harbour Bridge which was engineered by J. J Bradfield and opened in 1932. Hence, my calling it a "depression icon".
Have a good weekend!
