Sky Watch Friday - Hello! Can Any One Out There Hear Me? - Post 31

When passing by my church's bell the other evening, I looked up into the still bright sky and found a tiny moon showing amidst some criss-cross cloud patterns. (It's at about 11 o'clock above the bell.) The image found its way into my camera, of course. The bell reminded me of a megaphone and thus this post's title was born.

  9. Good capture and clever play between the words and image!

For Sky Watch over at San Francisco Bay Daily Photo, we have a dance between the moon and the fog at midnight.

  22. Nice pic of the sky. I probably wouldn't have noticed the moon. It blended in so nicely with the clouds in the sky.

Thanks for coming by my blog. I think the cliff was on Lake Norfolk. If I remember right I can see the bridges over the lake across the way. I wasn't driving and was sitting in the back of the van so I am not a hundred percent sure.

  42. I love the title. Very creative! You must live near an airport or air force base -- that is a multitude of contrails!

  43. @gmailYour composition is very striking, Pat. Was it a very windy day or is that from planes - criss-crossing like that would be quite dangerous.

Thank you for visiting my blog. To answer your question: Australia has probably 4 icons, two natural and two man-made. This is the Sydney Harbour Bridge which was engineered by J. J Bradfield and opened in 1932. Hence, my calling it a "depression icon".

    Have a good weekend!
