I Almost Wish I Hadn't Checked the Weather - Yuk!

"PRECIPITATION MAY END BRIEFLY TUESDAY MORNING BEFORE REDEVELOPING LATER IN THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED ONCE AGAIN...AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS COULD BE SIGNIFICANT. A QUARTER TO HALF AN INCH OF ICE COULD OCCUR IN SOME AREAS." (emphasis mine)

I should quit my grousing! I could live in Nebraska, or Iowa, or Minnesota, or somewhere that it's REALLY cold and nasty in the winter time.

::: counting my blessings... really ::::

  1. Yes, I was also listening to the weatherman. Wonder if he's right this time? I sure hope not. I've had enough ice and snow for this winter. Plus the extreme cold. I'm ready for an early Spring. Wishful thinking, after all it's not even Feb. yet.

  2. Oh I'm sorry Pat.. I think we're going to get lucky this time. The storm will be west of us and then go north and east from there. We may get some rain--but hopefully no ice. Hope you don't get much!!! Ice can do so much damage. Where are you in Arkansas?
    Hugs,

  6. I have said it before but here I go again...here in the South East of England, we don't know we're born. JP would have a fit, 'put another sweater on if you're cold' is his cry as he turns another heater down. Today was almost warm and the daffodils are beginning to pop green shoots. Keep warm.

  8. All our trees are iced over and some are bent over. If we get what they predict for tonight, I'm afraid there will be a lot of damage. I have a tree touching my roof now.

  10. Sorry to litter your comments with something that isn't relevant to your post, but congratulations on finding the right answer to Jinksy's riddle. I'm hitting myself over the head, that I didn't see it. Applause!
