Today's Flowers

A Day Lily by my back door - Summer, 2008

Other than a few now snow-chilled daffodils (we had a scattering of snow last night), there are no flowers in my garden. So, I share with you the colorful lily which bloomed in a small bed just outside my back door in June of last year.

Today's Flowers is a weekly Meme created by Luiz Santilli, Jr. and may be found here. Please visit to see others' lovely flower photos. If you have a flower photo of your own to share, please join us.

  17. Beautiful daylily, Pat. We have several of those in our yard. They are so pretty. When we first moved to the Glade in 2003, Dad Adams gave us a big bunch of these Daylilies. They come back every year and are SO pretty.

Alot of people up here in Fairfield Glade have the yellow daylilies now--because they bloom longer than a day!!! (Guess they need to change the name!!! ha)

    Have a great week.
    Hugs,
    Betsy
