As I promised (threatened), here is yet another list of books I read in 1999, this particular list being for the month of May of that year, and except for one (I'll let you guess), all 'light' reading.

Murder on the Silk Road - Stephanie Matteson
Murder at the Falls - Stephanie Matteson
Delilah Doolittle and the Purloined Pooch - Patricia Guiver

The Monkey's Raincoat - Robert Crais

Tomorrow is also a day.
Hi Pat, Glad Blogger is back... I lost my yesterday's Azaleas post. Had to republish it but lost all of the comments. AND--I lost another post that I had in the "hopper" for next week... Grrrrrr...
ReplyDeleteGreat list of books. My mother loved to read--like you do. I never have had that interest much.
Hugs,
Betsy
Like Betsy, I still don't have yesterdays post back but at least we are functional.
ReplyDeleteI read Blind Decent only out of your list. You certainly are an avid reader. I only read about a book a week but don't take that one book from me.
Wow how smart to keep a list by year and month. Now can you tell me what you remember about each book. I have forgotten the details of some material I read back then. lol
ReplyDeleteYour read far morethan I do with my Kindle. I am reading Pride and Prejudice. I read a little every day and not to fast.I have read the SHACK as nearly every one I know and several Max Lucado books. Also Jane Eyre.
ReplyDeleteI have really loved my return to reading now that I have no accumulation of dusty books and paperbacks to deal with.
May 31 having cataract surgery.Hubby had it a year or two ago. He says it is a snap. Nothing is a"snap" with me.
Funny how vastly folk's tastes can differ. You didn't hit me with a single shot in this list. I suspect maybe I'd miss the target for you, too. But, then again, having said that, we seem to enjoy each other's writings, so that's nice!
ReplyDeleteI admire the reading you've done. Unfortunately I haven't done that much reading, although I do love to read.
ReplyDeleteI take spells in reading, sometimes reading nothing for months and even years. I recently began reading again, and have just started Pat Conroy's Beach Music, which has been on my "want-to-take-a-look-at" list for a long time.
ReplyDeleteP.S. - I did not recognize a single title or author on your list!
P.S. #2 - Maybe Mrs. RWP would recognize your list. She is the one in the household who loves mystery and suspense.
