Today's Flowers - April 5

A white daffodil/narcissus in my daughter's garden. She thought the variety was "Iceberg" but I couldn't find such online anywhere. I did find mention of an older variety called "Thalia" which description fit the appearance of this one. There are three flowers at the tip of each flower stalk, and they look like small orchids; very beautiful, with a slight fragrance. I love all the little violets in the background, too.

  4. Beautiful white Daffodils, Pat. Our white ones are named Mt. Hood (thinking about the snow on the top of Mt. Hood)... But--your daughter's variety may be larger Daff's than ours. I love hers.. GORGEOUS.

  28. It seems that the spring flowers this year are more beautiful than ever. This is a wonderful picture of beautiful blossoms. I love the purple in the background makes the white stand out. It is suppose to be belowing freezing here tonight so I'm afraid it will do major damage to the beautiful but fragile blossoms.
