I like pictures of hands....always meant to take a photo of my neighbor's hands and waited too late.

How hands do tell a story...

They say that the eyes is the mirror of the soul - but the hands is the memory of the life.

Beautiful H.

Such strength and caring in those hands.

Wonderful photo! Hands are a beautiful part of God's creation. (Lovely, unique ring there, too.)

These praying hands are very meaningful.

Hands tell a lot about a person.

That's a picture that just begs someone to tell the story of those hands.

Very nice photo. I think hands are hard to photograph well.

SNAP: No, not my hands, but those of a dear friend. Her hands have been around even longer than my own. This was not a "posed" photo, either. I just caught her hands like this one evening while we were visiting, and when I asked her to "hold still a minute" while I got my camera, she graciously acquiesed.

I really love this photo. It conveys a lot of character.

I love this shot, Pat. It so reminds me of one I wanted to take, but didn't, lest I invade the privacy of the man they belonged to. He was in the food court at the mall, having fries and doing a crossword puzzle. His hands were beautiful, as are your dear friend's hands. Beautifully captured.

Beautiful hands, thin, elegant long fingers; the very hands I should loved to have had; mine are plump sausages and I have always tried to hide them.

I just love this shot. I tried so hard to get my old neighbor's hands at age 95, and did get them once (see my blog under "hands" ) but yours is so good. Nice job.

That's a very beautiful photo, and the hands are beautiful too.

We try so hard to keep our hands young-looking, don't we? And yet we all love hands like these.

Had to read down the comments a ways to find out they weren't your hands. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that you took the photo of them. Very nice shot.
