New Sky Watch Site - Post 45

No... it's not Friday, yet! But.... I can't believe I forgot to post about this sooner!

The folks at Sky Watch Friday, Tom Wiggers and his new helpers Sandy Carlson and Imac, with page design assistance by Klaus at Virtua Gallery, have created a new and completely separate blog site for Sky Watch Friday participants. Hop over and take a look at the new site.

The new Sky Watch blog won't be fully operational until 'official' Sky Watch time, which is 7:30 p.m. GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) this coming Thursday, July 17, but you'll want to save this new site in your bookmarks or RSS feeds so that you'll be ready to participate.

Cool! Were they the ones who created the whole lie on the ground and photograph the sky thing? I did that yesterday and enjoyed it immensely.

Thank You..
Well I came over to answer the question you left about the big bolt.. so I'll tell you that first... I see these on many building that have some age to them.. it is as you say a big nut and bolt and it goes the full lenght on the building. At one time the building would be concided unsafe and might have been ready to fall out wards.. Thes big Bolts are to hold the stone work together... I would thing the bolts are over a 100 years old.. they are doing they job very well I think.
You also mentioned the steps up to the door.. I'll let you into a secrete... on the door you can just make out a sign.. It says.. 'This door is not in use, Please use the door at the rear of the building'.. Looks great though..

Thank you for this post.. I had no idea folks would take the time to inform others in such away.. and with links... I really do appreciate the time and effort you have gone into and I will remember your kindness.
Tom
