My daughter's Maine Coon cat, Arthur, one of the most loving cats I've ever been around. He was adopted from the Colorado Springs Animal Shelter as a tiny kitten, and specifically chosen because he had huge paws! As you can see, the rest of him caught up with his feet!

He just may be the prettiest cat I have ever seen. His paws are huge.
oh my god!!!! he is bigger than our blackie, also a maine coon! your daughter's cat looks a lot like our old cat gertie (she passed away a few years ago - seems like yesterday)...
If this Maine Coon were ginger, I would think he was posing as Crookshanks! I do love Maine Coon Cats...especially their lovely tails!
Beautiful cat. Since I am new at your post, where will I find chapters 1-2-3 and 4?
I just can't stop loving cats...
Wow! 25 pounds and I thought my Ralphy was big. He sure is a handsome boy. Lisa

25 pounds is a LOT of cat! I had one that big once.

My Camera Critters Here and Here
Arthur is one handsome kitty! I would just love to give him a pet and a hug. ;-)
Arthur is definitely the biggest cat that I've ever seen! I'm glad to hear that he is as sweet as he is big! His breed was so interesting and unknown to me, that I googled Maine Coon Cat, and read all about them. They are fascinating cats! I'm so glad that you shared this story of Arthur with us! I will always remember his story!! GREAT POST!!!!
Coming out of a Harry Potter box, well with his looks he would fit in the story very well too.
He is huge, but what incredible coloring! Truly gorgeous! I love that he's in the Harry Potter box. lol
I have one named Darlin yours is bigger, and mine doesn't like boxes oddly enough sandy
He really does look like the cat that got the cream. Great psoe.
BEAUTIFUL cat. We got a stray about a year ago that was partly Maine Coon cat. The sweetest cat in the world. We had to give it away because we were already at our pet limit. My husband works with the new home of the cat, and they love it. It was a mixed breed so not quite as big, but still gained about 10 pounds after they got it.
Huge cat! He is a handsome one too!
Very cute cat. When my Cocker Spaniel Chloe was a puppy everyone commented on her paw size and occasionally now someone says something. They always said how big she would be. From the sounds of it she isn't much bigger than your cat you have posted here. She weighs in at 30lbs.
I love kitties!
Quite brilliant. Great fun.
Great photo! Thanks for sharing. Stop by and visit with my Camera Critter, too!
He's a beauty. And this is a lovely photo. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving the nice comment. Have a Happy Sunday.
This shot is absolutely priceless! I love it!
Aww he's a beauty!
I think I want a Maine Coon cat for my next kitty. I love this big guy.
I just learned about these amazing big cats recently … what GREAT eyes and perfect ‘expression’ on his face. My Camera Critters post is up at Small Reflections (along with a bunch of other stuph) … featuring Molly and Ms. Kitty interacting … sort of.
Hugs and blessings,
Looks like a bonus Harry Potter gift! I'll take it! I love big cats, too.
Ha! That is one funny photo, Pat! Loved it.
That's adorable cat!
He's purrty, but he doesn't look thrilled at the moment :)
Critter post
The expression on the cat's face tells it all. Priceless. Beautiful cat, love those eyes.
Now that's some cat! I've come with an invitation.
