Sedum
We had a hard freeze last night, and there's not a flower to be seen anywhere in my yard. So, I searched my photo archives for a suitable offering for today. This was taken in September, in my daughter's garden. I can't discern any appreciable fragrance in these flowers, but the bees seem to love them.

I love sedums, and this is a really nice photo. And thanks for visiting my begonias on Flowers for Today and your kind words.

This is new to me, I love the way it was captured. Like you I used an old photo for my post, but I say its worth our digging.
Thanks for sharing!

what a beautiful flower, nice color.
Sedums are great. Good pics.
They are very charming. I like the color...
I didn't know this flower. Very nice!!!
Great shot. I like sedum are wonderful, they must be if the bees love them.
That is simply beautiful!
My flower for today is posted here. Have a great week ahead!
WOW! Such beautiful flowers:) Lovely capture too!~
Mine is, HERE. Have a great week ahead!
Thank you for identifying my flower with the hummingbird moth as verbena. I have that scent in shower gel and I love it. Those 2 large container pots were really popular and lasted a long time. I had fun sitting and watching the insects and when that strange moth came along, I couldn't believe. I too have sedum, but everything is long gone near Buffalo NY..
Beautiful colors in these flowers. Loved them. Nice contribution to this week's Today's Flowers. Thank you for sharing them.
Sedums are beautiful. A pity they're not common on my side of the world.
Beautiful, Pat! We still haven't had a hard freeze. I even have a rhody that's trying to bloom...silly shrub!
Nice pic of beautiful flower - every little flower is like star. I like sedums.
I love the flowers of sedum, its intricate little stars. They are so pretty.
Very pretty flowers on the Sedum, and a nice shot as well.
Sedum is a favorite of mine..I have one called Chenile that can take a lot, but like you we had a hard freeze last night and even the pansies look like little cow flops...but by 10:30 they'll be sweetfaced as ever!
Lovely shot...do you happen to know the name of this particular sedum?
Sandi
Yes, it is a Sedum and it looks like it might be autumn Joy--which it is--and the bees do love them. thanks for the nice shot. MB
Υour flowers are very pretty and IN for the Greek fashion!!! Purple is this Autumn's colour! Thanks alot about the solution to my enigma about the name of my plant! It's really "Pyrakanthos" in Greeks which means "fire thorn"!
Hello Pat
Pure beauty and color of flowers in "pompoms".
I thank you for sharing your images so beautiful and sympathetic participation in TF.
hugs, Denise (TF Team)
I love purple, lavender, violet and lilac colored flowers.
Sedums are great, and their variety astonishes me. The low growing sorts are used extensively in the 'green roofs' that are becoming more and more popular over in my neck of the woods.
Thank you for visiting and commenting on my Villigen blog. I'm glad you liked my colors of the fall series.
A lovely photograph on this cold and blustery day. I am missing the sun so much these days. It's been so dark and dreary. I am not a fan of winter....sigh
Good photo of what once was.
I need some of this stuff...I really don't know why I don't have it since I like it so much.
Pretty color in the sedums. You took a nice shot.
Awesome photo!
What a beautiful sight for sore, November eyes. Lovely.
A beautiful blossom shot. I frequent my archives often to come up with a post. Thanks for visiting my site and commenting!
Pretty flower. I cannot remember seeing it before. Thanks for sharing.
Nice to see these beautiful flower photos at this time of year, when flowering is past.
Probably your sweet little granddaughter has gone home by now. You two must have had a wonderful time!
