Watching the Sky, but not Sky Watch Friday

When I arose this morning, the temperature was already at almost 70 degrees. Definitely not a good thing for December 27 in Arkansas! When I checked the weather report, it was as I suspected; we are under severe storm warnings. I stepped outside the front door a few minutes ago to see what, if anything, was going on in the heavens, and found only heavy gray clouds. They were being pushed by a strong southwesterly wind and really scudding across the sky. You'll have to imagine the movement, since while I have the capacity to make a short video on my camera, I don't have the know-how to get it into the blog (yet).

The storm warnings (actually tornado warnings) are to expire shortly. I'm hoping that they are not reissued. I don't wish for history to repeat itself; the Little Rock area was hit by a bad tornado during Christmas week a few years ago. That's not nice, Mother Nature!

Yipes, Pat... Hope those storms stay away from your house. We are foggy, cloudy, drizzly and about 60 degrees here today. All I can say is YUK.

Stay Safe.
Hugs,
Betsy

Lovely photos, Pat. I hope you're keeping safe and dry. I do envy the 70F weather though.

Hope you are safe. It's in the 50s here and it's rained all day. No severe storms though.

Oh, my! Tornado warnings during the holiday season.....ugh. Glad to hear your threat of severe weather is past....hopefully it is, anyway.

Its easy to upload a SHORT video, if you have it in your computer picture file, of course. You click that little videotape icon on the top bar of the edit post box and follow directions. My 52 second video from Christmas Eve took several hours to upload, to give you an idea of the time involved....it uploaded while I slept.

Wow -- This is such crazy weather for the end of December. I am from the St Louis area and I seen your area on our storm watch news this morning. We are having the crazy warm tempts also, but so far nothing but rain. Enjoyed your pictures-nice captures.

It looks like it going to stop raining around here finally, no severe weather today just rain.

Those pictures look just like our skies looked yesterday.

Well I envy you the warm temperatures but certainly not the dangerous weather. Hope it all remained calm. We are back and forth between melting and rain and freezing and snow. Nice mess, but at least we are likely to get out this week for some shopping.!

I think this weather is nuts. I mean we had almost 70 degrees the other day and it was just nice. Today was brilliant sunshine and in the 50s. We had a bright blue sky all day.

I do like your sky photos and the angry clouds.

Our sky looked like yours(ha)just 50 miles from you.
We did luck out and just have some rain and nothing more. Today, I worked in yard all afternoon. Enjoyed it before it turns cold again.
