As anticipated, I'm getting small refunds from both Uncle Sam and Uncle Arky. These monies will be used to pay my real estate and personal property taxes which, although not due until mid-October, will be paid as soon as these refunds are in the bank -- a financial revolving door.
Now I can start reading, again. This time, the book is Julia Spencer-Fleming's Through the Evil Days, the most recently published book in a series which I've been following for some years.
Tomorrow is also a day.

Isn't it nice to have the taxes done?! I tend to delay sitting down and tackling them, too. Ah, well. Done!
Such a chore. Thank goodness I am finally old enough and poor enough that I no longer have to file. Ahhhh. There is an advantage to creaky bones.
We're still not quite finished - Turbo Tax can't seem to figure my consultant income that no taxes were taken out of. Or maybe it's the mileage business expense that went with that....either way my husband spent an hour on the phone with the Turbo folks and they never did figure it out! blessings, marlene
Taxes, taxes !......My husband was the one who did them, and when he passed away, I had to look for a bookkeeper who did them for me.
I am glad that they are in good hands now.
Have a great week.

Ah, taxes... This was the first year in my life I didn't do my own taxes. This being the first year wherein I was totally self-employed, I had to break down and get a real accountant to do the job. Yikes!
Thanks for your visit and comment. Beautiful that you should wash each others feet!
I always breathe a bit easier when the taxes are done. Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
