The Best Laid Plans

I had constructed and published a clever post about the failure of the world to end yesterday but had to remove it.  Something within my computer or within Blogger decided to change some of the words I used into live links which I did not create.  Ads, of sort, which may be inoccuous but I'm taking no chances with the welfare of any readers who might click on the underlined words.

Sorry you came all this way and had to miss my scintillating (hahahaha) words.

Thanks Mr. Rhymeswithplague for the cross-reference to my blog. All referrals are appreciated.

Tomorrow is ALSO a day.

Isn't it irritating when those ads appear in links. Grrr. Seems like something could be done about that from Blogger's end.
Love your background on your blog!

Links going wrong was probably something to do with it being the end of the world!!! I was amused to see that a web site that was giving a count down to the end of the world went off air at about the right time! Maybe they felt foolish when another day came.
Anyway, Happy Christmas to you and Happy New Year. I'm busy choosing some carols for the Christmas Eve service at our local church, and it is amazing how emotional I can feel when looking at some of them again. The magic and wonder of Christmas when I was a child comes back!

A very happy, healthy, and prosperous 2013 to you and yours from the not-quite-mountains of north Georgia. We loved your Christmas card once again but didn't send out any of our own this year.

As a matter of fact, we didn't even put up a tree this year, first time in our entire lives. I missed it, but the best thing about not having put up a tree is not having to take it down.
