Sky Watch Friday - Hello! Can Any One Out There Hear Me? - Post 31

When passing by my church's bell the other evening, I looked up into the still bright sky and found a tiny moon showing amidst some criss-cross cloud patterns. (It's at about 11 o'clock above the bell.) The image found its way into my camera, of course. The bell reminded me of a megaphone and thus this post's title was born.

Happy SWF! We had the sky up there, all speckled with stars, and we used to lay on our backs and look up at them, and discuss about whether they was made or only just happened... mine's up too hope you can drop by.

There are some interesting things going on in that sky, and it does look like someone is 'speaking up'.

Great shot. Happy SWF..and happy weekend!

I love how the bell is in the corner of the photo as well as the moon. It is lovely to see things through someone elses eyes.

WOW I've never seen criss-crosses like that before. Great photograph also including the bell! It rings "time" :)

Good capture and clever play between the words and image!

For Sky Watch over at San Francisco Bay Daily Photo, we have a dance between the moon and the fog at midnight.

I love that photo. At first I thought they were contrails. And the bell in the corner adds a lot.

Nifty photo. I love the bell in the corner seeming to ring the clouds into the sky... and the moon so small in the distance.

Nice pic of the sky. I probably wouldn't have noticed the moon. It blended in so nicely with the clouds in the sky.

Thanks for coming by my blog. I think the cliff was on Lake Norfolk. If I remember right I can see the bridges over the lake across the way. I wasn't driving and was sitting in the back of the van so I am not a hundred percent sure.

The patterns are an odd feeling. So much going on in the sky and we can only see traces of it. I like this picture with your thoughts very much. Made me stop and think for a little, I like that!

Very cool.

Guess there have been times we all wonder if God can hear us. Or maybe really we are the ones who aren't listening.

I love the title. Very creative! You must live near an airport or air force base -- that is a multitude of contrails!

What a beautiful message, Pat!

@gmailYour composition is very striking, Pat. Was it a very windy day or is that from planes - criss-crossing like that would be quite dangerous.

Thank you for visiting my blog. To answer your question: Australia has probably 4 icons, two natural and two man-made. This is the Sydney Harbour Bridge which was engineered by J. J Bradfield and opened in 1932. Hence, my calling it a "depression icon".

Have a good weekend!
