Sky Watch Friday - Stormy Weather - Post 27

I captured this image a few days ago, about 24 hours ahead of yet another torrential downpour in our area. I haven't checked lately, but I'd venture to say that our precipitation year-to-date is not on the 'minus' side.

Sky Watch Friday is hosted by Tom Wiggers. Check out his site for Sky Watch photos from around the world.

Those clouds are dark but even so marvellous!

Nice photograph. Seems like a lot of people are getting a lot more rain this year than last year. We went from spring into a drought that lasted all summer. I hope this year will be different.

Looks very ominous!

Great shot of the clouds!

Your blog doesn't allow non-Blogger users to make comments, so I will use my Blogger account to comment. My SWF photo, however is in a different blog and is now posted, here:

Pat, that's what my sky looked like this morning (and is very similar to the photo I'm posting tomorrow--even though I'm not a participant in SWF). I think we're ahead on our YTD rainfall too.

That cloud looks almost ominous with an eye in the middle. Thank you for your kind words, Pat. This whole moving thing for me is rather stressful, I'm afraid. I'll be happy when I am set up in Hawaii with my trusty computer and blogging comfortably again. And yet, I know I'm going to miss my daughter and granddaughter. Sigh...

A great dramatic sky! I can almost feel the rain when I look at the picture.

It looks to me like the clouds are going to twirl around. The weather here in our part of the world - it has been raining for a few days now and there has been flood in the streets but not really that worse though.

I did enjoy the photos you have posted. And Arkansas does have some beautiful sunsets. Sunrises too for that matter. I grew up in about 70 SE of Little Rock. I miss my country home. I love a good rain storm!

Clouds are just so fascinating!! I could waste so much time pondering them, and how they constantly change. What fun to have cameras to capture a cloud scene here and there! Your photo is lovely!

"It never rains but it pours" - we get at lest 2000mm per year. Only - the last 30 days have only provided 9mm...

That sky could pass for the skies out here. We have had three times as much rainfall for this year than we usually average.
My daughter is a stamper and I think I am getting the fever too. It is so fun and one can be so creative. MB

That hole in the clouds looks as if it was made for those in the heavens to peer down at us! It's a peek hole! Nice Skywatch photo. Hope you dry out soon. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
