I captured this image a few days ago, about 24 hours ahead of yet another torrential downpour in our area. I haven't checked lately, but I'd venture to say that our precipitation year-to-date is not on the 'minus' side.

That is a very moody sky... love the dark days...
Rocky Mountain Retreat
Those clouds are dark but even so marvellous!
Nice photograph. Seems like a lot of people are getting a lot more rain this year than last year. We went from spring into a drought that lasted all summer. I hope this year will be different.
Looks very ominous!
Great shot of the clouds!
Your blog doesn't allow non-Blogger users to make comments, so I will use my Blogger account to comment. My SWF photo, however is in a different blog and is now posted, here:

Please drop by if you have the time. Thanks!
Love this shot!! Stormy skies are cool!
Pat, that's what my sky looked like this morning (and is very similar to the photo I'm posting tomorrow--even though I'm not a participant in SWF). I think we're ahead on our YTD rainfall too.
I hope you haven't washed away yet! Great photo.
Those are some dark and heavy looking clouds. Great sky shot!
This sky has a real atomsphere feeling about it. Wonderful photo.
Lovely. :)
That cloud looks almost ominous with an eye in the middle. Thank you for your kind words, Pat. This whole moving thing for me is rather stressful, I'm afraid. I'll be happy when I am set up in Hawaii with my trusty computer and blogging comfortably again. And yet, I know I'm going to miss my daughter and granddaughter. Sigh...
Your Sky looks like it is ready to drop some rain... I hope you get clear skies and sunshine this next week
great sky watch, well done.
That's a beautiful form of the clouds even though it's going to rain. :)
Stay safe! Beautiful skies in spite of the storm...
I feel a song coming on...

Ominous sky, but gorgeous image.
What a beautiful sky.. the weather everyplace has been unpredictable this year.. we are loving the moisture in the west.
A great dramatic sky! I can almost feel the rain when I look at the picture.
It looks to me like the clouds are going to twirl around. The weather here in our part of the world - it has been raining for a few days now and there has been flood in the streets but not really that worse though.
Sky Watch entry
This is definitely a wet s[pring everywhere I think; cloudy, dark skies are often the atmosphere of the day. Very nice.

Neat storm clouds!
We've had alot of those in Kansas! I'm ready for dry time!
Beautiful cloud pictures. I love the fact they can change in an instant.
Looks like the clouds currently above my roof. Threatening to pour any moment :P
In love stormy skies
I did enjoy the photos you have posted. And Arkansas does have some beautiful sunsets. Sunrises too for that matter. I grew up in about 70 SE of Little Rock. I miss my country home. I love a good rain storm!
Clouds are just so fascinating!! I could waste so much time pondering them, and how they constantly change. What fun to have cameras to capture a cloud scene here and there! Your photo is lovely!
Whirling clouds...If I was spinning in a teacup @ Disney and looked up, I think this is what I would see...great photo!
Thanks for the visit...yes of course this is from the cat's eye view...mine would be less finicky:)
"It never rains but it pours" - we get at lest 2000mm per year. Only - the last 30 days have only provided 9mm...
Scary stormy....
That sky could pass for the skies out here. We have had three times as much rainfall for this year than we usually average.
My daughter is a stamper and I think I am getting the fever too. It is so fun and one can be so creative. MB
I think you are right, and you are in for more rain! Next week maybe a photo of a silver lining? Hope your camp goes well!
Lots of stormy weather in these parts too. Great photo and thank you for visiting my First Friday SkyWatch. It was fun. ~ Lynn
That hole in the clouds looks as if it was made for those in the heavens to peer down at us! It's a peek hole! Nice Skywatch photo. Hope you dry out soon. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
A good day to curl up with a book.....
Great shot of a threatening sky -- and still we had more rain and stormy weather on Monday.
