Love the soft blues of the hydrangea. When the small flowers start to bloom it just gets bigger and better! Even the bugs are a bonus.
Happy First Day of Spring!

Those bugs also seem to approve of your hydrangea. Such a lovely flower.

Beautiful, Pat! Are those fire ants visiting the Queen?

Have a wonderful Monday!

Beautiful Hydrangea. The visitors look like some species of leatherwing beetle. If so, they're not hurting the flower or plant. They feed on pollen and nectar.

Marvin Thanks for the identification of the insects; I was wondering just what they might be.

Now then, tell me how this differs from Queen Anne's Lace? I had thought that hydrangeas were more bold......
I so love Queen Anne's Lace, which my Mum would call Stink Weed and then throw it and me out of the house!
It took me two years to get it to catch in the backyard of my townhome.
