I assume it is the POPcorn that is too pooped to pop. HA HA

Rest up. it is the weekend.

I FINALLY have appt with Dr. in LR who will do an ablation. Right now I am giving hime one attempt. Two is max. one can have.

WHY!

Because I already had set in motion to go to Baylor Heart InstitutE in Dallas. My half sister and half brother go there and both have same problem as I. Half Brother has had same procedure and only had one and is fine. He has the worst heart and weight of the three of us. I lost one half brother on Christmas Day two years ago to massive heart attack which we think he never told any of us he had heart trouble and was the only heavy drinker among us. He was sortta a hermit...not social at all with anybody.

Funny title of this post and the photo is great!
I have been watching and listening to the news about the tsunami from 8 am till now 6.15 pm. It's unbelievable.

It is warming up enough today that there should be some popping soon.

Know the feeling, been there a few times. I try to post several days ahead, using a day when I have more time. I use to try to stay about two weeks ahead, but lately it's only a few days at a time. Too many other things I have to get done in a day and I find I'm a lot slower doing them then what I use to be. LOL Happy week-end.

I suppose there must be a kernel of truth in what you say.

have a break, sit back and enjoy a day of leisure.
You'll feel better for it.

Friko Perhaps next week. :) I am burning my candle at both ends right now, one end because of necessity and the other because I don't know how to say NO.

rhymeswithplague Groan!

Patty Except for my meme participation, I don't post ahead. I'm trying to journal something every day.

Arkansas Patti It's supposed to be over 70 degrees here tomorrow... and I will be inside all day!

ReaderWil I've been watching or listening to the earthquake/tsunami news since the early morning hours (2 a.m. here). My youngest daughter, who has lived in Japan and Okinawa, called to discuss it with me. She is much concerned for the people she knew in both places.

NitWit1 Yep! I had just enough energy last night to find an Internet image of popcorn. My weekend is almost as busy as my week. No rest for the wicked.

Carolina I'm not sick; just tired! :)

Hilary Yes, it was corny -- I loved it! Thanks for the chuckle.

I've known the "too pooped to pop" feeling.

I've heard that expression many times, but your use of it got me too wondering about its origins. I would have guessed it had been around a long time, but based upon what I can find on the Net, it was first used in The Popcorn Song by Cliffie Stone in 1955. Chuck Berry also recorded the song later.

In answer to your question: Yes, unless the weather is threatening, Jo and I always take our camera on our walks. Both of us enjoy taking nature photos. As a general rule, whoever finds the specimen, takes the photos. We keep our photos separate on our computer. Jo participates in a photo site, but isn't interested in blogging. When I'm working on a blog post, I use the best photos I can find and try to remember to give her credit when the photos are hers, as they often are.
